I have worked with epoxy for 15 years and was at the beginning of the movement (when there was only one type of epoxy for sale in the USA ! and bought mine for Europe) I have also taught dozens of classes and will be starting to take on more in the new year.
I teach 2 types of classes :
HANDS ON CLASSES
How to mix epoxy safely and accurately, all of the different types of epoxy and their specific uses
The difference between tinting, coloring and clear pours
Preparing moulds and wood for pours
This class is taught on 2 days a week apart
The mould we use size will produce cutting board ,side table or wall art top size pieces (you can take these home )
Classes run about 2 hours
Class size will be minimum of 4 to book a session
The cost for the two classes is $200 total
DEMONSTRATION CLASSES
This class is a one day class
I will be demonstrating and you will be observing me teach you how to choose wood, make a mould , mix color, pour epoxy and apply a finish.
The lecture portion will be about what to do AND what not to do when working with epoxy, tricks of the trade and more
Project size will be either a coffee table or bench.
Class will run about 2 hours
Minimum class size will be 4 to book a session and a maximum size of class size is 6
The cost per class is $80 per session
